Here’s an interesting study from Spain:
Asking patients two questions: “How old are you?” and “What
year were you born?” had a specificity (the probability that a person not
having a disease will be correctly identified by a clinical test) of 97.8% and
a negative predictive value of 98.9% in helping to rule out dementia.
