My brother lives a few hours away.
He recently got sick and needed an emergency evaluation due to symptoms that sounded like possible appendicitis.
He's always been a bachelor.
A very successful bachelor (in business that is).
He's a world traveler.
But...he will be the first to admit, he's a terrible patient.
I'm a terrible patient also but I have my wife.
She takes care of me when I'm sick.
She helps me sort through symptoms and keep things in perspective.
My brother doesn't have that.
He needs that.
We all do.
